Tired of reading multiple lists to find out where they agree and differ? This list will try to make sense of the decade and the magazines who have expressed their choices for the best of this decade.

Data used so far was from Decade lists from Rolling Stone, NME, Uncut, and Pitchfork. I'll add more comparisons as they come.

Again take my comments with a grain of salt. Lists and comparing them en masse is really not that important in the scheme of things and is just for fun. I just wanted to point out regardless of the periodical that odd choices were made and the comparisons point to this. There is no such thing as a perfect list and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

My Top 100 Favorite Remixes of all Time

Tried to not include any album versions or anything that states "Original Mix". What i did try to include were some historically important remixes, some floor slayers, and a few personal picks that were very underlooked. All of these I can recommend and most really transformed the original track into something different or better. These are all DANCE remixes though. If you want a trip-hop or IDM remix of a song you won't find it here. List is chronological too.

If you see any top notch mixes please recommend themin comments and I may add any that I clearly overlooked. Otherwise my rough draft looks pretty solid I think and I did spend about 4 days on this list off and on. Youtube links added when I could find them.

This is for the "second and third wave" of Industrial/EBM music. No Throbbing Gristle, Cabart Voltaire, etc. Stuff I grew up with in the late 80's and early 90's. This is a ranking of the physically released singles only not songs off of albums . Ministry, "So What" wasn't ever a single so it couldn't be included, same thing with Skinny Puppy's "Assimilate". See my other list for those songs not included.

It's based on, "GASP", nightclub play and my memory. There may have been other tunes that were good that I never heard ,so sorry if you don't see a particular song on my list. Allowed Ep's since so many Ep's were simply bloated singles. How the 10 track Head like a Hole single can be a single and Closer to God can be an EP really throws the distinctions out...

This is a list and a ranking of just those votes, putting together an arguably better Top Shoegaze album list.
